Walking the Five Bodies: First Term Reflections
As we near the end of the first term of our 11-week Freedom to Create Residential Programme 2025, there’s a quiet amazement in the air. In just a few weeks, we have moved through all five bodies, physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and astral, not as theories, but as lived experiences.
The 2025 Autumn core students entered this journey with courage, with history, with questions. They didn’t come to be entertained, but to be transformed. And within these weeks, they have woven a bond strong enough to welcome also weekly participants into a deeper field, always sincere.
It hasn’t been without challenge. Everyone carries their own baggage, and even the most devoted practices can’t always meet every hidden need. Yet, together, they created a field of trust and curiosity showing what becomes possible when hearts and minds choose to stay, to listen, and to grow together.
At The Transmission School, we don’t claim to resolve the challenges of a lifetime. What we offer are ancient tools, embodied practices, and a big heart, a space where each person can process, experiment, and awaken their own insight. And over these first weeks, we’ve seen the seeds of transformation begin to take root.
Physical Body:
We began with raw vegan cuisine, garden time, and restorative massage. Each meal, each movement, each touch reminded us that freedom begins with responsibility for life itself. Hands in the soil, harvesting olives alongside grandi e piccini, grounded us in the rhythm of living.
Emotional Body:
Satyamo and Abbha opened the field of honest relating. We laughed, cried, clashed, and discovered that real freedom is found in relationship, even with all the characters of the soul.
Mental Body:
Astrology became a language for awakening. Faye Blake asked: What if reading the stars is not a prediction, but inviting our participation? Pluto in Aquarius reminded us to reclaim our true technology: the heart, intuition, and inner authority.
Spiritual Body:
With Zen and Qi Gong with Jeroen van Deutekom, we explored the paradox of effort within effortlessness. We practiced keeping quiet, made peace with boredom, and trusted the subtle movements of the mind. Observing the Five Hindrances became a practice of disarming them with awareness.
Astral Body:
Bruno and Carole guided us into dreams, symbols, and archetypes. Here we meet the hidden stories that move us from the inside, beyond roles and identities, where travelling in the astral plane becomes a tool for self-discovery.
There is so much more we could say, but as Vito reminds us, here by reading, we only give a glimpse of what is happening daily at The Transmission School… the rest must be lived. The sacred cannot be fully sent through Wi-Fi.
